Our team is building-out services in the following areas:

Idea -to- Rapid Prototype

Have an idea-- but feeling uncertain how to bring it to life?

We support early stage concept development and prototyping of new tools, devices, and processes driven by Inworks Human-Centered Design principles. Our team specializes in project mentoring through the curation of creative design practices and technical skill-building in design and fabrication.  Work with us to explore wild ideas and create functional prototypes for early user-feedback; take your ideas beyond paper and iteratively test 3D physical realities.  Let us encourage you to be proactively inclusive-- experience how inviting end-users to participate from concept stages is advantageous for all.

Applied Clinical + Research Innovations

Do you need assistance in making a custom device or tool for a particular near-term patient need or clinical purpose?

Using our state-of-art technologies access our team’s design, fabrication and medical product development expertise to advance your innovative idea to a specific use-case. Utilize our in-house 3D printers (i.e. polyjet multi-material, biocompatible materials, carbon-fiber reinforced nylon), 3D scanner and 3D modeling capabilities to deliver on result-driven care goals. Consult with us on topics ranging from engineering guidelines to aesthetic and material considerations as a means of addressing your one-time implementation needs.

Interdisciplinary Education + Collaboration

Looking for exposure to the latest technologies that may inspire avenues of advancing your own work or broadening your view of what is possible?  Feeling like breaking out of the boundaries of your discipline may strengthen your projects and lead to productive collaborations?

We offer a collaborative interdisciplinary environment that is richly diverse in mindsets and backgrounds. Inworks provides a dynamic mix of workshops, demonstrations, presentations, and opportunities for social engagements that serve our growing community of innovators.  Please join us as we seek to further connect the Anschutz Medical Campus community, the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem, and other academic centers. Collaborate easily with colleagues at the downtown campus of the University of Colorado using our visual collaboration platform-- Oblong Mezzanine.
